Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress, famous for her character Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" she has been gaining lots of attention. A California resident, Calvano was initially interested in gymnastics competition. However, she later made the decision to go after a job acting. The first time she appeared on screen was in 2010 in the episode of CBS's NCIS. The biographical crime drama movie J Edgar was her big screen debut a year following. She is one of today's most promising actresses over the last few years. For her performance in 'NCIS', she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best performance in a television Series with a Guest Actor Actress 11-15 in 2011. The actress was also nominated 2013 for a Young Artist Award, this time due to her performance as a guest actor on Disney XD's comedic series 'Kickin' It'. Calvano played the lead role in Mom's first three seasons, and also made several guest appearances throughout the fourth.
